(this happens usually with very long movies [i.e. Fetch stb 4.1.1 batemans bay plex is working fine on pc and samsung tv and working with both.mp4 and.mkv file types. However, when tring to play any.mkv movie, the audio works, but get a spinning circle ( buffering ?) for the video. This is for both the fetch mighty and the fetch mini.
To me it look like the fetch app is not the most up

I have some mkv movie files that are not showing in my library when i scan for files on my pc. This tends to happen when mujltiple files have similar names such as if a movie or tv episode is split into several parts. For example, if i had files named “movie part 1” and “movie part 2” in the same folder on my pc, “movie part 1” will show in the plex library but “movie part 2 Anyway, i now wonder if the lack of truehd w/atmos audio support by apple tv may have something to do with dmca.

It is already added to my movie library on nas1 that runs its own plex server. I have copied that movie folder to a second nas2, that also runs its own plex server. I cannot get the movie to add to the library on nas2. I added the movie file “the jungle book (2016).mkv” but plex lists it as the original the jungle book animated feature from 1967… usually having the year in the file name insures the correct data is pulled but not for this one.
I have recently had mkv and avi files shared with me.
I put them in the same folders i normally use. When i scanned my movie files in the plex app, nothing was added. This was never a problem until a few weeks ago. When i switch the desktop (or web) app, to folders view, i am able to navigate to the new folders.
